New Delhi, Shimla and Kufri Tour Itinerary

Day 1
"Morning upon arrive Delhi meet and greet our representative drive for Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel and and over night stay at hotel.

Shimla: is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

Day 2
"Today morning breakfast proceed with later proceed for local Sightseeing of Shimla after that in the evening back to Hotel take dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Jakhoo: Temple is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to Hindu deity, Hanuman. It is situated on Jakhoo Hill, 2.5 km /1.3 miles east from the Ridge, Shimla at a height of 2,455 m

The Ridge: Road is a large open space, located in the heart of Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Ridge is the hub of all cultural activities of Shimla.

The Rashtrapati Niwas: Also known as Viceregal Lodge, is located on the Observatory Hills of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. It was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India.

Christ Church: Shimla, is the second oldest church in North India, after St John's Church in Meerut. It is a parish in the Diocese of Amritsar in the Church of North India.

Mall Road: Is the main street in Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India. Constructed during British colonial rule, the Mall road is located a level below the ridge. Attractions Nearby Mall Road Scandal point, Gaiety Theater, Kali Bari Temple, Town Hall.

Hasan Valley: One of the most amazing places in Shimla and Husain Valley is also known as the second densest forest in Asia. Most of the people visiting Shimla must have seen a glimpse of this forest on their way to Kufri or retreat.

Kufri: The highest point in the surrounding region, Kufri has a Himalayan wild life zoo which hosts rare antelopes, felines and birds including the Himalayan monal the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. During winter a meandering path through the potato plantations turns into a popular ski track.

Day 3
"Today after breakfast we will check out from the hotel in shimla and will drive you to manali. It is a beautiful day of drive through the beautiful valleys of Sundernagar, Mandi, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi devi temple, Kullu. The valley in between Mandi to Manali, we drive along the beas river and the drive is full of scenic views and we will stop for various picture breaks, lunch break and comfort breaks on the way. If interested we will visit the Traditonal shawl weaving factories in Kullu. kullu and Manikaran, site of natural hot water springs believed to have medicinal powers. On arrival at Manikaran, visit The Rama Temple here is built in pyramidal style and is dedicated to Lord Rama. and the Gurudwara of Shri Narayan Hari, who built it almost 60 years back. Today it provides the daily langar service (free meal) to lots of people.

Later on continue our drive to manali where we will arrive by evening. On arrival in manali check in to your hotel and evening is free to explore the local market of manali

Day 4
"Today morning after breakfast drive to sightseeing of solang valley .After that return back to Manali.
Rohtang Pass:- up to snow line (up to Snow line refers to the barrier placed by the government to avoid risks during Heavy snowfall). Tour to Rohtang covers some of the most attractive spots, panorama activities and spectacular sight of glaciers. On the way to Rohtang pass cover Nehru kund, Palchang, Kothi, Gulaba, Rahla Water Falls, Marhi, Rani Nala.

Solang valley: Giant slopes of lawn comprise Solang Valley and provide its reputation as a popular ski resort. A few ski agencies offering courses and equipment reside here and operate only during winters. Snow melts during the summer months starting May and skiing is then replaced by zorbing. Enjoy Skiing, Horse Riding, Yak Riding, Snow Scooter ride (on your own expenses).

Day 5
"Today after breakfast proceed to visit Manali Local Sightseeing like:-

Hadimba Devi Temple: (Hadimba Devi temple this temple was built in dating back 1553 is built around a nature cave which enshrines the footprints of the Goddess Hadimba. Hadimba Devi Temple is a wooden temple and is the located in middle of Van Vihar).

Manu Temple: The temple is one of the prime attractions in Manali and is believed to be the same place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth. This place has a distinct historical background that appeals to most of the people who visit Manali. The popularity of this majestic temple lies in the fact that it is the only temple dedicated to Manu

Van Vihar National Park: is one of the most frequented attractions in Manali. Located favorably on the Mall Road, this park is populated with many deodar trees that provide shade to the whole area. For the convenience of visitors, the park is provided with concrete as well as wooden benches. It is an ideal place for enjoying picnics and spending moments of repose with your loved ones.

Club House: Manali is located in the center of the city near the Mall road. It offers comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar, and a restaurant. The place is one of the most favorite attractions in Manali for kids, who can play video games, enjoy Go carting etc. available here.

Tibetan Monastery: is surrounded by several small shops selling beautiful handicrafts and carpets, made by Tibetan people living nearby these monasteries. The Tibetan Monasteries also run a Thanks School of Arts and a Carpet-weaving Center to preserve ancient Tibetan art. The paintings inside these buildings depict events from Lord Buddha's life and the Kalchakra, i.e., the wheel of life fixed on the wall of the monastery shows the human life cycle. The Buddhists believe that rotating these wheelsgives you salvation.

Day 6
Today morning after breakfast check out the hotel and drive to chandigarh local sight sightseeing trip of the city. First we’ll visit the Rock Gardens located in city’s Sector I. This garden is a marvelous human creation showcasing the aesthetic potential of urban and industrial wastes. These waste materials have been transformed into real things of beauty. The Rock Gardens had been a brainchild of Dr. Nek Chand who had been road inspector in the city’s Engineering Department. Next, we visit the Sukhna Lake. This pellucid water body covering an area of about 3 sq km is located at the base of the Shivalik Ranges and is a great place to enjoy boating, lakeside strolling and soothing breeze in the morning and evening. After Sukhna Lake, we proceed to our next sightseeing destination; the Zakir Hussain Rose Garden; a 30 acres of sprawling green land dotted with about 50, 000 rose shrubs of over 16,000 varieties. It is the biggest of its kinds in the whole of Asia. It is indeed a memorable visual treat to watch those lovely blooms. After Rose Garden, now it’s a time to move towards the last visit of the day, the Open Hand Monument. This is a symbolic architectural piece created by famous architect Le Corbusier. The monument stands for the official emblem of the city’s administration. After visiting this monument, late eveing check in hotel chandigarh and dinner and stay overnight chandigarh hotel.
Day 7
Today morning after breakfast and check out the hotel and drive for Delhi to drop ar railway station / bus stand / airport for your onward journey.
